Made from juniper pine wood, possibly salvaged from an abandoned campfire or logging debris. The wood has been treated naturally against insects with vinegar and water, and then finished with tung oil and beeswax for a beautiful appearance. The crack is repaired with brackets made of silver wire. The exterior patina was achieved using the Japanese burnishing technique (Yakisugi-ita, also known as shō sugi ban).
