The small box is made from a drawer found in an antique shop. The lid is Japanese in style and features a stone with ties and small tree branches.

The larger box is made from recycled cedar wood, and its purpose is to protect the smaller one during shipping.

The small drawer has been treated with the Japanese Urushi lacquer technique and its lid, like the large box, has been embellished with the Japanese burnishing technique (Yakisugi-ita, also known as shō sugi ban).

All the wood has been naturally treated and polished with tung oil and beeswax. All products are organic and non-toxic.
